Before we start to make the sandbox, let's map our needs, our child's needs and the features of the garden. The size of the sandbox depends on the size of the garden, the number of children and, of course, the number of children in the circle of friends. The area around the terrace is ideal for placement, so you can keep an eye on the workers all the time. If there is a tree in the garden with a large canopy that gives shade against the burning sun, put the sandbox there. If not, then be sure to set up a large parasol to protect children from sunstroke and sunburn. It can come in handy, especially for sand castle construction, the proximity of the garden faucet. One thing is for sure: making a sandbox is by no means a mistake, since it provides a good, even full-day activity, while at the same time it educates self-reliance, concentration, develops dexterity, strengthens imagination, logical thinking and creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, lay down a cultivator in the chosen place so that the excess water drains off. Cover this with two layers of geotextile, so that the sand does not leak between the gravel and disappear slowly. Fix the wooden elements to each other with appropriate expertise.<\/span>
\nThe ideal height of the sandpit side is 30-40 cm, so that the child can easily crawl in and out, yet still have the depth of the working area.<\/span>
\nMaterial requirements (all ingredients are available at the fireworks): planed wood, whether planks or roundwood (between HUF 5 000 and HUF 15 000 depending on the size of the sandbox). The roundwood is more expensive, but more practical, because it can also be used as a seat. \u2013 0.2 cubic metres of gravel (approximately HUF 3500 per cubic metre), 0.2 cubic metres of sand (approximately HUF 2500) and 1 square metre of geotextile (approximately HUF 127) are sufficient for a sandbox of 1 \u00d7 1 m. <\/span><\/p>\n

And let's not forget this: Sprinkle a few bags of cinnamon in the sand, because it keeps insects and even cats away!<\/span><\/p>\n
