The summer kitchen. Everyone knows what the term means, and I'm sure everyone has a memory of the time when a delicious jam smells around the kitchenette hidden in the outbuilding when they are on holiday in their grandmothers', great-grandmothers' houses …

The raison d'être of the room cannot be very questioned. In times of heat, it is a great advantage if you do not have to worry about everyday cooking in the apartment or in the house, because when you can only make the temperature acceptable with air conditioning inside, no one likes to heat even with the stove. Thus, the outdoor opportunity is especially appreciated during the cooking period! Nowadays things have changed a bit. The garden is often our outdoor living room, and a well-groomed terrace becomes the main place of reception during the warm months – it is clear that cooking and baking will be a typical programme and even a relaxing activity for garden owners. So it is worthwhile to create a well-thought-out venue for these activities, since we only have to assemble the equipment for us once, and from that day our house will literally expand! We get an extra space, where we don't have to start a cleaning campaign after every crumb, we don't heat the interior when cooking, there is no fragrance of fried bacon in our home, and we can spend our free time outdoors not only when we have a rest, but also when we work by the stove!
