Fairytale cottage

I have found a fantastic little house that I absolutely must show you! It doesn't have a 50sqm floor space, but thanks to the really thoughtful design, the design is so beautiful and every room is so cozy that it could stand its place in any fairy tale! 

 

The house in Portland is home to a family of two. Their home is not too big, but it is really cozy, and the large garden that belongs to it expands their living space every summer, as they spend as much time as possible outside. Interior designer Jessica Helgerson dreamed up a Scandinavian-style white-painted wooden house for the family.

It consists of a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bath and an attic. The floors and walls (both inside and outside) are painted white, the furnishing in some places may seem a little minimal, but it is perfectly practical and everything has its place. The terrace in front of the house provides a perfect place for relaxation! Green roof insulation plays a key role in optimizing the temperature.
