Budapest bedroom on 14sqm, with a worker and plenty of storage space with a bit of orange

We are in Budapest, a nice young couple commissioned us to redesign their 14sqm bedroom. The average size of the room is only 14 sqm, and as in most condominium properties, the placement of closets is key, because there are not many options for creating larger storage spaces elsewhere. In addition, the existing wall-to-wall wardrobe seemed overwhelming to the wife. So we had to design a complete and ample capacity equipment in such a way that the overall picture would be airy.

There were five other important aspects:

  • There should also be a home office.
  • solving the dressing table,
  • The husband's favorite color is orange.
  • There is a cradle when a baby arrives.
  • do not use upholstered headboard

In addition, I tried to take into account that two 4-legged family members should also be favoured in the apartment – so the unique bed was designed to be accessible by bed stairs.

The storage capacity was further increased by the furniture around the headboard and the addition of a huge bed with bedding, which resulted in their new, cozy and cozy bedroom.

Thank you for your enthusiasm.
