Koros village farmhouse, modern cottage

The request came from Transylvania, which was followed by a valuable meeting near the border. My clients wanted to create a cottage from an old but well-preserved farmhouse with a veranda, in which up to 12 people can comfortably be accommodated at the same time! It was important for them to have a modern and "today" interior, and I thought it was important to preserve the original character of the house. It was not an easy task, because enlargement was not an option, but it had to be spacious. Apart from the veranda, the house was very shady, and there were no windows in any of the rooms. But I found the solution! The building has become a weekend house that many people would accept as a family home. I took the transformation of the building with humility and so the all-encompassing comfort was perfect and the overall effect was impressive while retaining the unique characteristics!
