Attic children's room
2024-02-06
I designed the attic room of the youngest, most chess-loving member of a nice young family not long ago. The room is located on the floor of a suburban terraced house, compact in size, elongated in shape and bounded by an oblique roof. The young resident did not want led lights, trendy pieces, x-box or TV. The main role was played by chess and a huge desk, which can be a place not only for learning, but also for hobbies. The shelving system behind the bed is at the same time a deposit surface, a decorative part and an independent space for mood lighting. It has become unique and friendly, yet it is not characterized by mindless cost.
